Why choose a white sheepskin?
A white sheepskin brings a luxurious, authentic and warm look to any room where you will use it. These furs can be styled almost anywhere because white goes with really any other color in your interior.
For example, you can place a sheepskin in front of the fireplace for an extra warm look. You can drape the fleece over a chair or beautiful linen box. Next to your bed is also an incredibly nice option. Wonderfully warm for your feet! Many of our customers use their sheepskin mainly on the couch and chair.
Do you have a faithful four-legged friend? Then not only your pet will be content with the white sheepskin but also the furniture. After all, it protects against wear and tear. And what about a luxurious sheepskin rug on the wall as a unique eye-catcher? Use a sheepskin as a bed, for example.
Different types of white sheepskins
Our white sheepskins come from Icelanders and Texelaars (Dutch sheep), among others. It is mostly the typical Texel sheepskin that evokes recognition by most people. We cited it before but each white sheepskin is unique in its hue. This is logically explained by the fact that it is a natural product. Just as no human being is the same, it is of course exactly the same with sheep. Each sheep is unique.
Choose the right sheepskin for your interior
There is variation not only in the color of our white sheepskin. Also in the wool hairs. Thus, each type of wool has typical characteristics and a corresponding appearance. For example, Texels have thick firm warm wool. These compact white sheepskins are therefore perfect for the couch, chair or as a bed for your pet. Icelanders, on the other hand, are known for their beautiful long hair. An Icelandic sheepskin has less dense and thick wool. On the contrary, the wool is stylish and soft. For this reason, an Icelandic sheepskin is more often used for decoration. Do you really want something unique? Then you can choose wool with curls from the Gotland sheep.
Ecologically tanned for a silky soft feel and pleasant fragrance
Our traditional white sheepskins are wonderfully supple and soft. To achieve this high standard we always have our tanneries extra brush the white fleece making it wonderfully soft and giving it a fine sheen. You will notice once you have a white sheepskin that you will want to stroke it all day long.
One of the other characteristics of our white sheepskins is that they have a pleasant odor. In fact, many sheepskins that have gone through a quick or limited tanning process may have a buck (sheep) smell or typical farm smell. This is a typical characteristic of cheaper sheepskins. You would rather not have a sheepskin with a buck odor in your home, believe me. This is because the buck smell will soon be smelled throughout your house, something you don't want in my opinion. You want to be able to enjoy your white sheep immediately right?
Together with our tanners, we looked at how to make the white sheepskins smell nice. After several adjustments in the tanning process, we managed to neutralize any buck odors. The smell can be neutral or slightly soapy (a bit like detergent). We are quite a bit proud of this. As a result, you can immediately give your new white sheepskin a nice place in your interior.
Did you know that white sheepskins come in different sizes?
We offer sheepskins in a variety of sizes. Our authentic white sheepskin comes in the following sizes:
Because our collection has an organic progression it can happen that we (temporarily) do not have a certain size in stock.

How do I care for my white sheepskin?
Of course you're proud of your luxurious, authentic white sheepskin. But how do you keep it beautiful for the longest time? In principle a sheepskin doesn't need much maintenance. Depending on how you use it, a white sheepskin may need a little more care than a darker color. Don't let this deter you.
